The Gerbil Site Framework is a CMS framework based on PHP and MySQL. It is designed to be portable with as much information as possible stored in the database to allow for easy expansion for load balancing. Gerbil Site also has the ability to have one instance of the software front many virtual hosts. Gerbil Site also has the following functionality built into it:

• User Management
• IP Banning
• Basic Advertising
• Access to Style, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, and Style tags in the head of custom pages
• Site Images stored in Database with Hotlink Protections
• Plugins to extend functionality
